yeah I could see your point but I've been drawing plant like that (with gradual shading) for year. In this one I said fuck it and made it rich dark just to see how well it worked. And I like my plant drawings looking more like this now than I do fucking shading them all the time. I think it works really well also for the viewer because this is a small drawing but even from far away people can tell exactly what it is.
Anyway the shading thing I'm not gonna do but I understand what your talking about. and theres no problem shadeing the normal way either.
